Trailer
Ambitious actress Lee McKnight seduces Dr. Jim into bankrolling her latest movie production, gathering the film's writer and crew at his beach house to get the project off the ground. When the doctor's wife shows up unannounced and jealous, he kills her — and soon finds himself unsettled by the plot of the very movie he's financing: a murder in a doctor's house.
Convinced the filmmakers are onto him, Dr. Jim sets out to eliminate anyone who might connect the fiction to his own crime. Starring Karen Black, Martin Mull, Lee Purcell, and Lainie Kazan, Movies, Money and Murder is a dark comedy where financing a film turns out to be the most dangerous role of all.
