Based on Sally Nicholls' best-selling novel, Ways to Live Forever earned the CEC Award for Best Adapted Screenplay at Spain's Cinema Writers Circle Awards, along with honors from the Bordeaux International Festival of Women in Cinema, the Hamburg Film Festival, and the Heartland International Film Festival. It's a film that finds humor and warmth in a subject most stories flinch from.
